Honestly, it depends on the saw type, motor position, material, blade size, etc.

Based on how heavy or how lightweight the saw is, it will be determined how comfortably you can hold it. Too much weight can cause operator fatigue.
Factors That Decide on the Circular Saw Weight

In such saws, you see the saw blade is directly connected to the arbor shaft. Resultantly, the blade spins faster than its counterparts.

Usually, the size of a circular saw is determined by its blade radius. For example, if a saw can accommodate a 4 ½ ” radius saw blade, it is labeled as a 4 ½ ” saw.
That being said, the blade size plays a dominant role in deciding the saw weight. If your saw consists of a larger saw blade, it will be heavier.
At the same time, a blade with a larger radius needs a more powerful motor to be rotated.
